Hello:
In this post I am going to explain my educational experiences:
Rivo Rubeo (Rubí) I spent 2 weeks with 4th grade. I did some observation tasks and I tried to help the children as much as possible. My tutor was Anna Maria and she was really special to me because she was really supportive when working with kids that have functional diversity. Furthermore, she made me realize the importance of objectives to children as they know what they need to do. Moreover, the way that the school treated the social problems, that affected such as the refugees, was really interesting as they let them express without books. Lastly, they showed how they teach without books, and this I liked a lot because I never experienced. She has been a very good referent for me as she showed me her passion for being with kids and learning how to deal with the problems with the students.

Emma Dalton School (Zwolle the Netherlands): I was there for one
month and four days. My students were from 8 to 13 years old. I elaborated
Mission to Mars' project using the methodology International Primary
Curriculum. Furthermore, I taught some Spanish in a small multi-level class. As
I had the opportunity to go to an ERASMUS in the Netherlands, I could obtain a
little vision of the educational system in the Netherlands. My tutors were
Melinda and Ben, and they taught me the importance of having a good
relationship with the class and also, to know the importance of students'
behavior has to perform in class and with their peers. Moreover, one of the
things that have impressed me of the educational system in the Netherlands are
the materials that students use, as they use it as a resource for students to
be more independent and autonomous such as the planner (to know what they did
to do during the weeks or the dice if they need help or they can help to the
students. Last but not least, being a teacher in the Netherlands was
challenging because it was the first time and it was in English is in a Dalton
school has been useful for me as a teacher because I have never been in an
Alternative School and it has helped me to build me as a teacher.
L’Escoleta (3rd & 4th grade) BELLATERRA à It was a great
opportunity in which I learned about how to develop projects. As it is a school
in which students are the ones that think about the projects it taught me how
to adapt the activities taking into account students’ needs and how to include
the curriculum.
